Fresh Eggs, Easier Collection
The Porta Coop Rollaway Nest Box gives laying hens a dedicated place to nest while making egg collection more convenient. As a hen lays, the egg rolls away from the nesting area and into a separate collection compartment, keeping it away from the hen until you're ready to collect it.
Available in 18", 30", and 48" sizes, the Rollaway Nest Box can be used to customize your Porta Coop setup for your flock and available space.
Adjustable Nesting Configuration
The included dividers can be positioned to personalize the nesting area for your flock. Porta Coop notes that leaving the nest box more open can accommodate more hens, giving you flexibility in how you configure the interior.
Inside or Outside Egg Collection
The Rollaway Nest Box can be assembled so the egg collection compartment faces inside or outside, depending on the direction the side panels are installed. This allows you to choose the collection orientation that works best for your setup.
Built-In Perch
A perch installs along the front of the nest box and can be raised to block hens from roosting inside the nesting area.

Assembly & Care
The nest box requires assembly, with the base supplied pre-assembled. Assembly includes attaching the side, top and back panels, installing the dividers and curtain, attaching the egg-box lid and front perch, and installing the mounting brackets.
For cleaning, Porta Coop instructs owners to open the egg pan, remove the nest turf, and shake or hose debris from the turf before sliding it back into place.
